Joanna'll have to wait in the Dark a little longer.
The Internet has recently become abound with rumours that developer Rare is to pipe up soon about the existence of a follow-up to the Nintendo 64's ambitious first-person shooter, Perfect Dark.
Disregarding the Microsoft Xbox 360's Perfect Dark: Zero, the web-based rumblings hinted at said development being the "true sequel" to the 64-BIT original, including new gameplay features such as the Half-Life 2-inspired morality system.
Rare's head of Xbox 360 production, however, preferred to dodge any of the fervent hear 'say: "There's always rumours going around about different games we may or may not be doing but we'd prefer not to comment on rumours at this stage," Lee Schuneman explained to GamesIndustry.
Oh, well. At least we know a Banjo Kazooie title is in development, something Schneman adds will "bring something entirely new" to the franchise.
