Battlestations: Midway...bombing this week's new releases?
This week’s list of new releases is a little more wide-ranging when compared to last week’s, which was decidedly loaded in the favour of handheld formats, with Hotel Dusk: Room 215 on the Nintendo DS emerging as the most interesting title on offer.
However, this week sees the home console selection considerably boosted by the likes of Battlestations: Midway for the Xbox 360, and Sonic The Hedgehog on the PlayStation 3 bolstering the new release line-up.
Perhaps the pick of the week is Level 5’s sci-fi RPG epic Rogue Galaxy, which, while being a (lowly?) PlayStation 2 title, has swept majestically before the eyes of gaming’s critics, shrugging off any current-gen preconceptions and/or predetermined format restrictions, and left nothing but high scores and beaming smiles in its wake.
