Two new, official Xbox 360 pads hit US stores earlier today, imaginatively named ‘Pink’ and ‘Blue’. And, er… there really isn’t much more to point out, other than the fact that either controller would look rather incongruous next to any of the available Xbox 360 SKUs (a Halo green console and that pink? Does. Not. Compute.)

We presume the blue is targeted at males, and the pink - this is just a hunch, incidentally - at females? Ha, think you know how to expand markets, Nintendo? Just watch the masters at work. Our snarky cynicism aside, that baby pink reminds us of strawberry-flavoured Angel Delight. Yum.

Each pad is $49.99, should you have an overwhelming urge to buy some horribly conflicting accessories.
