Master Chief gears up for more bang-bang, shooty-shooty action.
You might've 'finished the fight' a long while ago now, but the multiplayer battles in Halo 3 will never end - or at least not for the foreseeable future with Microsoft announcing that a second map pack for the massively successful Xbox 360 shooter will launch in spring 2008.
The news was divulged within the release information of the Heroic Map Pack, which will launch on December 11 at a cost of 800 Microsoft Points. It'll feature three new multiplayer landscapes, namely Standoff, Rat's Nest and Foundry.
No details on map pack two just yet, although we do know that the Heroic download will be available for free by the time it arrives - great if you're scrimping for pennies.
