Bloody brilliant?
Japan might be, commercially, a relative disaster in comparison to other regions for Microsoft and its Xbox 360, but the firm is using this week's Tokyo Game Show to reveal a bumper line-up for its next-generation console that includes conformation that Team Ninja and Temco's Ninja Gaiden 2 will be an exclusive to the machine.
The title will see players reprising the role of Ryu Hayabusa "as they guide the ninja hero on a quest to avenge his clan and prevent the destruction of the human race," Microsoft has explained.
Other Xbox 360 software announcements included Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant from Square Enix and the December 6 (Japan) and February 2008 (US and Europe) release date for Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey.
Xbox Live Arcade revelations were also prevalent, with the likes of Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Rez, Every Extend Extra Extreme, EXIT, Omega Five, Triggerheart, Exelica, Braid, Castlecrashers and Schizoid all confirmed.
Xbox Live users will be able to catch up with all the best bits from Tokyo through Microsoft's TGS Bring it Home coverage. There'll be hours of trailers, interviews and exclusives all available to download from tomorrow.
Will today’s news help bolster the sales of the Xbox 360 in Japan? Only time will tell.
