Marriage proposals in games are nothing new, but the news that somebody has popped the question in Halo 3 still managed to momentarily warm our icy hearts.

As you can see above, groom-to-be Moviesign made a Forge map in Halo 3, constructed a proposal from in-game firearms (swoon! Is there anything more romantic than high-tech weapons?), then got down on one knee (in teabagging position) and proposed. Thankfully, rather than unleash a volley of Needler fire into his virtual eyes and run away, his girlfriend of over two years, one furtive penguin, accepted.

They've not set a wedding date yet, as you never know when something important might pop up, right? "We're waiting to see what the release date is for the next Halo game," explained a blushing furtive penguin to Xbox.com. "We don't want any conflicts." Well... you've got to admire their dedication, at least.
