I know we’ve been piling on the Halo posts recently, but this insanely brilliant LEGO model of Halo 2’s Zanzibar map really deserves some of the spotlight. Constructed by Halo fanatic Alex Kobbs, the video above is essentially a ‘making of’ featurette that tracks Kobbs’ progress on the model, which he describes as "95% complete."

The point of this backbreaking, somewhat epic exercise? Like many ‘out there’ fan creations, there really doesn’t seem to be one, though Kobbs does mention he intends to make a stop-motion movie using his Lilliputian version of Zanzibar.
