College sports on-demand, on Live.
Microsoft Xbox 360-owning sports fans will be pleased to hear that they will now be able to download college basketball and other ESPN programming on demand to their consoles.
Standard definition versions of NCAA games will set you back $3 USD, while you'll have to fork out a little more - $4.50 - for a high definition experience, reports CNN. As part of the deal, ESPN is also considering ways to incoroporate the Xbox Live community into its telecasts, but has no plans on how it'll do this just yet.
"Delivering content through Xbox 360 is another way that we can connect fans with the sports they have such passion for," said Matt Murphy, senior vice president of digital video distribution for Disney and ESPN Media Networks.
