EA: “Say wha-?” (Credit: tac) EA has accidentally revealed a revised, rumble-enabled version of the PlayStation 3’s SIXAXIS controller, after a hands-on demo of the developer’s Burnout Paradise used the new pads. The unintentional unveiling of the new peripheral occurred before Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2007 keynote address, which is due to take place later, in around [*checks watch*] three hours. Whoops.
IGN was amongst the first to give the quaking, shaking new controllers a test run, and even found that the pads were sporting a “Rumble” sticker on the underside.
Of course, Sony is yet to absolutely confirm the existence of these, so when it does, let’s all pretend to be REALLY HAPPY AND SURPRISED and clap Sony EXTRA LOUD. Better still, let’s see if they call it “last-gen.”
