Savage 2 - A Tortured Soul has launched and anyone can now download the game for free and enjoy five hours of free online play. The game is an RTS/FPS/RPG  - and dangerously close to forming a critical mass of acronyms - so you should find something to keep you happy. If you're still interested after five hours, it'll cost you US$29.95 to get the full experience, including unlimited online play, full clan support through the Savage Clan League and ability to use persistent items. Much better, presumably, than the flighty, inconsistent, easily distracted items you might otherwise have.
