Better 3D than this? We'll soon see...
It has been known for a while now that a new title in id Software's long running first-person shooter series, Wolfenstein, was in the works. Today, however, news reaches us that Raven Software is handling the creation of the game.
The Quake IV developer was linked with the project in a report that appeared on WISC-TV focusing on details of current hardware technology and the inns and outs of computer animation. Barely any concrete information is known about the new addition to the Wolfenstein family, other than it involves the story of an "elite force assassin" as revealed by actress Carrie Coon when speaking about the motion capture experience for her stealthy character.
"They had me kind of bust through doors with big guns and pretend I was an assassin being that didn't have a spine and club a body of something on the ground and sniff it," Coon explained. "You know, it was one of the most bizarre audition experiences I've ever had in my life."
