If you have some sort of Nvidia-flavoured hardware in your PC, you can get a free download of an 'extended demo' of Portal. The demo, called Portal: First Slice, can be grabbed by going here and clicking on the "Get It Now!' button. There's a quick test to make sure your system does actually contain an Nvidia video card, and then it's yours for the taking. You'll also get Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 2: The Lost Coast and Peggle Extreme. Of course, if you've already bought the Orange Box - and if not, why not? - you'll have everything already, so you can go back to sleep. For everyone else - enjoy!
