Aye, there's some new Eye images to eye up, said I.
In a timely act during the run up to the release of Guild Wars: Eye of the North on August 31, ArenaNet has released a set of new screenshots for the standalone expansion pack that is set across the continents that have been introduced in previous campaigns.
ArenaNet has stated that the expansion will introduce the following:
*40 new armour sets (4 per profession), as well as a number of non-set, non-profession specific armor pieces.
*100 new profession-specific skills (10 per profession, none of which are elite).
*50 new PvE-only skills.
*10 new heroes.
*The Hall of Monuments, a place which will allow players to obtain unique titles, companions, armour and miniatures in Guild Wars 2 based on your achievements in the original Guild Wars.
The expansion pack will be split into three acts, with a mighty boss waiting patiently at the end of each. GamerSquad reckons that each terrifying beast is checking its watch right about now, waiting impatiently for your arrivial.
Anyway, enough of our blabbering - feast your eyes on the little beauties below, screenshots that show off the variety and detail in Eye of the North's varied locations. Fans of both lush greenery and those with a penchant for icy environments will be in their element. Love deserts and lakes? We're afraid you're going to be a little less impressed.
