Hate wires, love Wii? This could be the answer.
Considering their trailing inconvenience and accident potential, it’s only natural that some of us end up hating wires, but, in the case of the Nintendo Wii, do we hate them enough to dish out more cash for a wireless version of the Wii sensor-bar?
We’re sure, as the tech-savvy gamers you are, that you’ve already spotted why this gadget is actually pretty cool—especially those well versed with videogame joy via a projector screen. Yes folks, if you have your glistening Wii hooked up to a projector screen and your HC gear is tucked neatly away from said screen, this gadget means you can still keep things neat, with just the sensor-bar positioned beneath the screen.
The great news is that this Wii sensor bar alternative isn’t going to sting you for too much money either, as it’s currently retailing for a mere $24.99 (+$5.99 for S&H in the US). That’s certainly not too bad, and apparently the creators are working on bringing that price down even further. Of course, you’ll have to shell out for a few batteries every now and then, so that’s going to push the price up a tad—but you should expect some 45 hours of Wii play before that’s necessary.
