After a recent survey of Famitsu readers (Japan's leading videogame print magazine) it has emerged that the Nintendo Wii is the videogame console of choice for those people eagerly awaiting the completion of the next-gen hardware scene. Though it only marks the Japanese region of the global consumer base, the survey results certainly show a massive swing in consumer expectation following Nintendo's successful showcasing of the Wii at E3 and Sony's criticised high pricing and 'me too' attitude inherent in the PlayStation 3.
