Clearly not deterred by the fate of the most (in)famous glove-based peripheral ever to appear for a Nintendo games system, the folks over at DealExtreme are now offering these inflatable boxing gloves for use with the Wii. Offering dedicated pockets for your Wiimote and Nunchuk, the gloves apparently "inspire and motivate" users. Eye of the Tiger - your time is up.

They come in a retina-searing shade of light/luminous blue, are packaged in a box featuring - bizarrely (and we’d guess somewhat illegally) - Guile of Street Fighter fame, and were no doubt inspired by similar peripherals for Wii Sports Golf and Tennis. That said, they’ve also arrived just in time for the US release of Victorious Boxers: Revolutions on October 16.
