Yes, you may have noticed that today is all about the Nintendo Wii, but you can’t blame us really, it’s exciting to finally have something a little different to play.

And what we have on show here is probably the best advert we’ve yet seen for Ubisoft’s foray into Wiimote mini-game madness with Rayman Raving Rabbids. If this trailer doesn’t manage to sell vast amounts of the game itself, but also a multitude of Wii consoles, then there’s something seriously wrong with the world. Plus, the critics really like it too.

Having played Raving Rabbids for a good few hours today, it has to be said that you could do worse than this particular title in amongst the other available Wii launch games. It’s a lot of fun and so incredibly cute, even all you guys with non-gaming girlfriends may have to fight for the controller when she spots you playing (which is either a great reason to buy it, or a really bad one).
