Having spent most of the Xmas break wedded to Guitar Hero III on the Wii - and never wanting to hear 'Slow Ride' ever again, thank you very much - we did begin to wonder if Rock Band would ever migrate to Nintendo's Wagglebox. Right on cue, EA's Bryce Baer stepped up and shouted in GamePro's ear this very word: 'nup.' Or, more accurately, he said that it hadn't been announced 'at this time', which we'll interpret as meaning 'Of course it's going to be on the Wii! What are we, insane? We just don't have the posters printed yet."

Naive optimism on our part, perhaps, but not putting the Greatest Party Game Ever on the Greatest Party Box Ever would be a serious oversight. And surely, anything the PS2 can do, the Wii can do better? Fingers crossed that this time next year we'll be nursing strained vocal cords and various drum-related wounds.
