They can't make 'em fast enough.
The cost of an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 may have been snipped recently, but Nintendo has no need to play the price cut game. That’s according to Nintendo America chief George Harrison, who informed Reuters, "We'll stay at $249 for the foreseeable future. We are still selling everything we can make."
And honestly, who can blame them? To understand just how in demand Nintendo’s waggle box is in, one only needs to observe the rising number of desperate parents stalking the high street for Wiis in the wild, or the puffed up prices that Wii-hunters are once more beginning to pay on eBay as Christmas nears.
Or to put it another way: Reggie wasn’t kidding.
