After the abject horror of two posts ago, perhaps now is a good time to help our retinas recuperate, by reminding them how a Wii game should look. Under development at Sega, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on Nintendo’s console looks vibrant, energetic, happy, and - most importantly of all - comes with a big, happy dollop of blue skies.
There’s a veritable swarm of Nintendo and Sega characters on display in these Wii shots. As well as the titular plumber and hedgehog, Bowser, Yoshi, Peach, Luigi, Toad, and Lakitu from the world of Mario join Amy, Eggman, Cream, Knuckles, and Tails from the Sonic universe. There’s bound to be more, of course - we simply demand a Koopa appearance, though Shadow can stay well away for all we care.
