The Nintendo Wii-related puns are getting beyond the joke. A company by the name of Overline Gaming is preparing to release a new Arcade-style joystick for use with the Virtual Console. And it's name? The Shaft.

We'll let its makers explain its benefits:

It'll cost $39.95 USD on its release this December and it actually looks alright - but that name - why, oh why?
