We avoided posting this yesterday because you all know our feelings about this whole ‘clumsy people flinging Wiimotes through the air’ episode—perhaps it’s just that here at GamerSquad we don’t have sweaty palms. Or perhaps all these Wiimote injuries prove that it is indeed easy to let the white stick of doom take out a plasma TV, or an eye. Just because it hasn’t happened to us, in even the most intense of tennis battles, doesn’t mean it can’t happen, right?
So, bearing that in mind, the above picture dictates the best possible way to keep a good grip on your Wiimote. Sure, thinking of the cost of TV replacement, eye replacement, light-fitting replacement, and friend replacement might sway you to keep a good firm hold without resorting to this solution, but if all that fails, what you really need to do is handcuff that slippery sucker to yourself, so it isn’t going anywhere apart from where you want it to.
Okay, you’ll look like a bit of a fool, but your plasma/LCD TV, best friend, windows, and light fittings will all be safe and sound—and that’s all we at GamerSquad want for you, our fellow gamers, in order to be safe and not needing to replace expensive household equipment or fittings.
