We loved - loved - the Commodore 64 back in the 80s and still harbour a ridiculous amount of nostalgia for its chunky, pixellicious gaming. It's where we first played Elite, and ploughed countless hours into Lords of Midnight, Impossible Mission, Spy Hunter, Zork, Boulderdash, Paradroid, Racing Destruction Set and... well, literally hundreds of others. Good times, good times. So pardon us for coming over all rose-coloured on hearing that the Wii Virtual Console will soon - in Europe at least - start selling C64 games. First off the block are International Karate and Uridium, both terrific little games that will set you back 500 Wii points. Regular releases are promised but no further game titles have been announced.
