Like Cooking Mama. For drunks. (Credit: Famitsu) Ah, the wacky world of Nintendo DS non-games. The past few months have seen all manner of weird and wonderful software aids appear on Ninty’s lovable handheld, teaching everything from origami to yoga to getting pretty.
Thus, when DS Fanboy directed our attention to EA’s Bartender DS, a game dedicated to educating users in the art of mixing cocktails, we were far from surprised.
In actual fact, Bartender DS was originally announced back in April, but EA has now released the first screens for the title (which can be seen over at Famitsu), giving us the perfect excuse to revisit it. The game features over 850 different cocktails, and will launch alongside Sakashou DS and Sommelier DS, titles about sake and wine respectively.
Sadly, you’re going to require some pretty excellent Japanese skills if you do want to enjoy any of these, as right now the chances of a western release are pretty dim.
