Draglade is an endearingly wacky sounding DS game that lets the player use 'an innovative mix of rhythm and combat to create devastating combos and attacks.' Sounds like an evening down the disco to us! There's an incomprehensible backstory to the game - something to do with scientists inventing a weapon that makes groovy tunes when you hit someone with it - but we cannot help but be intrigued by a rhythm based fighting game that lets us create 'Beat Combos' that can be customised throughout the game. The idea of forging a lethal fighting style around Dave Brubeck's 'Take Five' is just too tempting. Swingin', baby...

The game was released in the U.S. just before Christmas, and is due everywhere else in March 2008.
