Another PS3 exclusive to help silence the fanboy critics?
Following on from yesterday’s solid attempt to alleviate some of the unwarranted software pressure currently being dumped on the PlayStation 3, GamerSquad thought it a good idea (for the benefit of ALL gamers, you understand) to shove another worthy PS3 exclusive into the Trailer Park spotlight.
While yesterday we focused on the staggering action RPG beauty of Gaia’s incoming Folklore (October), this time around we figured an absolute blowout of visual content related to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction might serve to put certain Xbox 360 fanboy noses distinctly out of joint.
You’ll recall the recent accusations of rendered footage being passed off as in-game content prior to the full appearance of Ratchet & Clank’s latest adventure (a la Killzone 2’s first unveiling at the old E3)? Well, it would certainly appear that, although Tools of Destruction does boast some Pixar-like narrative segues, its in-game aesthetics are also thoroughly stunning to behold.
Oh, did we mention that Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is exclusive to the PlayStation 3? No, okay, we will.
Packed with all the trademark action and humour that has seen furry Ratchet and clunky Crank become firm fan favourites throughout their ongoing series, Tools of Destruction certainly doesn’t look as though it’s going to disappoint when it arrives on the PlayStation 3 – and only the PlayStation 3 – in late October.
By the way, it’s exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Phew, nearly forgot to mention that.
