Microsoft's X06 brand event in Barcelona brought forward a great many top-flight games, many of which GamerSquad has showcased in trailer form over the past few days.

Third-person action seems to be all the rage at the moment, with Lost Planet and Gears of War heading up some excellent titles, with first-person shooters Crysis and Bioshock equally as appealing.

However, X06 didn't leave racing fans out in the cold, and Bizarre Creations unveiled the next edition of its racing forerunner with Project Gotham Racing 4, which will be developed exclusively for the Xbox 360.

"As you can imagine at Bizarre we're thrilled to be continuing to grow the Gotham brand for Microsoft and Xbox 360," said Martyn Chudley, Managing Director of Bizarre Creations. "But this time around we will be really extending the boundaries of both Kudos and Racing, and pushing the game in all-new and very exciting directions. Certainly, this will be a true PGR game, but definitely not as you have seen before."

We're sold on it. PGR 3 was excellent, PGR 4 looks just as impressive to us here at GamerSquad.
