Dungeon Explorer - wonder what you do in that, then? The trailer is a little bit coy about giving a good, close look at the action, preferring to stay back and obscure everything with oversize text and scantily clad battle maidens, but it does look quite nifty. There appears to be at least one foot firmly in the Diablo camp, and the 3D graphics engine seems to be very fast and smooth - not always an easy thing to do on the DS.

Those of you with good memories might remember the original game from 1989 (or have played it more recently on the Wii's Virtual Console) when it gained a reputation as a hard-as-nails Gauntlet clone. Difficult to say how much of the old game survives in this new incarnation - not too long to find out though, as the game is due on both DS and PSP on February 12th.
