Last week we reported on a collectable pair of sneakers with a Super Mario design, and very snazzy they were too. Whether October is going to turn into Videogame footwear month, we don't know, but now we learn of this pair of fiery red trainers based on the Arcade classic Space Invaders.

Geek Chic at its finest, it's the type footwear to get you noticed. However, not only will people spot you a mile off given their eye-catching colour, but they'll know where you'll have been too - at least they will if you've been traipsing through mud or snow or wet cement. Y'see, the tread on the soles of the trainers are generously raised and sculpted in an alien design with the phrase "10 Points" below it, guaranteeing that you’ll leave retro videogaming tracks wherever you go.

They'll set you back $120 USD from Giant Robot and are only available in very limited sizes and stock. 'Very limited' means that unless you're an 8.5 in shoe sizes, you're out of luck. Sorry.
