If you've guided videogaming's most famous pill-popper to victory on innumerable formats over the years, but still find his virtual guise too painful to leave behind as you power down your machine - even after all these years - then how about inviting both Pac-Man and his ghostly adversaries into your home for real?

Yep, thanks to Club Namco, a limited number of plush Pac-Man-related soft toys have gone on sale, a set featuring the vintage videogame character and four of his most famous enemies - Blinky (red ghost), Pinky (pink ghost), Inky (blue ghost) and Pokey (orange ghost).

What's best about these soft toys is that, thanks to the magic powers of two AA batteries, each of them can be powered up to scuttle across your living room floor in what Namco describes as "mayhem."

GamerSquad isn't sure whether Blinky and pals actually chase Pac-Man or not; more than likely they just scuttle into the nearest wall or get helplessly caught behind the impenetrable barrier of a mislaid remote control.

Still, they're pretty nifty little gizmos and - oh - not surprisingly, the online stock, priced at $99 USD per set, has oddly vanished during the time it took to tell you all about them. Popular little chaps, eh?
