Is that Wembley Stadium in the background?!
Like the continuous ebb and flow of the tides and the inevitability of sunrise and sunset, Halo 3 will be released on the PC at some stage in the future. We know it, you know it, heck, even that old guy next door that hasn't bought a new piece of technology since the invention of the radio knows it’s a certainty. Still, Bungie is keeping quiet about any such port in light of the game's impending Xbox 360 release.
"I can tell you for a fact that there's not one line of code written for a PC version at this point," Bungie's Frank O'Connor told GameSpot. "We're not working on it, Microsoft hasn't even chatted to us about it yet. They realise the important thing is to get the 360 version [out] at this point."
Given the likelihood of Halo 3 supporting cross-platform online play between the Xbox 360 and PC versions via Live, many games watchers are predicting that the difference in time between the release of the two builds will be considerably shorter than the gap between the original Halo and its sequel.
Sounds about right to us, that.
