Never heard of YoYo Games before, but they are 'the YouTube of Games" according to, um, themselves. There's been more than 10,000 games uploaded in the past 200 days, which is a staggering amount but also (damn our cynical hearts!) makes us wince at the thought of ploughing through 9,990 games that are Not Very Good At All before finding something that is Actually Quite Good, All Things Considered. Every game is free, playable and rateable, so that should thin the herd a little.

For the more ambitious amongst you, YoYo have their free GameMaker software which will let you, y'know, make games. It is allegedly easy to use and will have you 'building great games in no time.' Not us, obviously, but you might. There's worse ways to dangle a toe in the heady world of game development so have at it, and let us know when your masterpiece is finished.
