Forget how impressed you were by Aardman's Wallace and Gromit creations, the only stop-motion animation you need to know about right now is 'Super Manrio Kart', a surreal filmic ode to the Super Nintendo version of the massively popular racer

It ends rather abruptly, but the work that must have gone in to it (just check out the three red shells circling one of the racer's motors) is staggering.
