Have you ever wondered what would happen if you crossed one of videogaming's most famous platforming mascots with the most popular console first-person shooter of recent years? That's right, Super Halo Bros.

Presumably a fan of both franchises, 'finjitzu' has created a parody of Super Mario's earliest 2D adventure, placing Master Chief in place of the perilous plumber in level 1-1. Halo's protagonist bounces along over a variety of obstacles, using his weapon in place of Mario's Fire Flower ability and even submerging into ‘pipes.’

Very odd, indeed. We wonder if there'll be follow-ups...
