When various mumblings started to suggest that Darth Vader and Yoda would be playable characters in Soul Calibur IV, we had very strong doubts. However, after checking that we hadn't accidentally slept through to April 1st, and watching the video above very carefully for any sign of fakery, it now seems as if the most bizarre case of cross-franchise pollination is actually true. Colour us stunned and befuddled. It is sort of cool, though, isn't it? Cool in a weird way, but undeniably intriguing and, well, you get to play Darth Vader in a fighting game and do tricky things with a lightsabre while being set upon by scantily clad anime babes. Crazy.
