It's a decidedly slow week on the new release front, with scant little arriving on either side of the Atlantic to whet the appetites of expectant gamers. The next-gen formats continue to push forward at a veritable snail's pace, with only Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Shrek the Third arriving on the Xbox 360, while Bust-a-Move Bash! is the only weekly entrant for the Nintendo Wii, and the PS3 gets Go! Puzzle.

Across the other formats, the likes of Loco Mania, Circus Empire, Two Worlds, and Sam & Max Episode 6: Bright Side of the Moon bolster the PC lineup, while Taito Legends 2, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, and Hard Rock Casino add to the PS2's already massive catalogue. On the handheld front the PSP gets Heatseeker, Driver 76, and Hot Wheels Ultimate Racing, while Nintendo's market-leading DS hosts Turn It Around and Picross DS.
