Left is best, according to Aussie 'scientists'. And we wonder why there's no cure for cancer.
Okay, I’m one of them, a leftie…in so many ways (as am I—Ed), but I have to admit to not being what I would term as a ‘great gamer’. I certainly don’t feel an aptitude over those in my clique that happen to be right-handed (poor souls). Yet, according to new Australian research, I should be right up there as top of the gaming bunch.
The research, which appeared in the journal of neuropsychology, suggests I should also be better at flying a jet fighter and talking whilst driving in heavy traffic. Having gone through the rigors of an Honours Behavioural Science degree, I always question this sort of research and tend to come away from the reading of such findings mumbling things like ‘piffle’ and ‘tosh’.
Still, if you’re a gaming leftie like me and the lovely editor here at GamerSquad, and you want to feel all smug with regards to a (supposedly) more natural aptitude to games playing, now you have the scientific backing to say it’s so.
