According to Shacknews, Left 4 Dead will be released in late summer this year - or, to put it another way, sometime that's a bit Augusty. That's a bit later than we would have hoped, but then we're all for a game being polished to an eye-watering shine/draped lovingly with zombie guts before release. The apocalyptic co-op zombie shooter is being developed by Turtle Rock, who've just been bought by Valve, a company that's never been shy of delaying a game until it sits at the pinnacle of gaming perfection. And, in light of the magnificence that was the Orange Box, who are we to argue?
