Poor old Julian Eggebrecht. The Factor 5 bossman has already had to fend off the criticisms of Lair in North America and Europe, and now it seems he's doing it in Japan - even before the game has been received by the masses.
In a video piece for G4, he explains that the reason the PlayStation 3 dragon warfare title (re-named Rise from Lair in Japan) was panned in North America was because so-called 'hardcore' players weren't receptive enough to the "unique" motion sensitive controls, and that individuals new to the hobby embraced them a lot quicker - nothing at all to do with poor progamming, then?
So first the development was cursed, then Eggerbrecht dissed other games' poor SIXAXIS controls, and now he's inferring that Lair was aimed at new, casual gamers?
