We truly miss having this much free time. (Credit: BlueStarMedia) Just what is it about Guitar Hero that inspires absolutely potty fan creations? A fortnight ago, there was Rafael Mizrahi and Tal Chalozin’s axe-wielding robot that could shred its way through Guitar Hero II without a note dropped. Today, this intricately crafted LEGO Guitar Hero controller appeared on the Internet, and GamerSquad's jaw duly dropped.
Obviously, constructing a replica of Guitar Hero’s Gibson Explorer-inspired peripheral using just LEGO is a feat worthy of applause on its own, but get this: it even works with the game! Brilliant!
Says its creator: "This is a custom guitar controller for the game Guitar Hero, modeled after a Gibson Explorer guitar, with an extra large scratch-plate for style. I gutted the real controller and put the electronic boards in the lego case, so it actually works, too."
Which, if you ask us, is an absolute stroke of genius. And that’s not all - he’s even constructed one based on Katamari Damacy. All a bit mental really, but an admirable show of dedication to the art of virtual shredding.
Sir, we salute you.
