You'll have to wait even longer for your next big moment, Mr. Snake.
We learn of a blow for Sony PlayStation 3 owners everywhere today, with Konami announcing that Metal Gear Solid 4 has been delayed from its scheduled 'Winter' release date to the second quarter of 2008.
The developer's reasoning behind the hold-up is very interesting indeed:
"KONAMI had initially intended to release "METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS" this winter and has been working on the production of the title. KONAMI has decided to delay the title's release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide."
"Greater enjoyment for more customers," y'say? Could that mean the touching up of a much-rumoured Microsoft Xbox 360 version and the disappearance of another title touted exclusively for the PS3?
