Forza 2 demo accelerates onto Xbox Marketplace!

A post on the official Forza Motorsport 2 message board last night revealed that a downloadable demo for the much anticipated racer would be available at 2am PDT, which at the time was a heads up to the event, but by this time means that the freebie should already be available on the Xbox Marketplace!

"Demo should be live tonight on Marketplace at 2AM PDT. That's what we've been told. If it's not there at exactly 2AM, please do not shoot the messenger or bring your vitriol here to the forums", message board moderator Chewbacca IV said.

It is expected that the Forza 2 taster will be around 700MB in size and will feature over 20 vehicles that can be pitted against seven computer-controlled drivers in offline races.

Developed by Turn 10 Studios exclusively for the Xbox 360, Forza Motorsport 2 is the sequel to the 2005 original. The new title implements numerous improvements over its predecessor, including enhanced graphics, and also a revamped physics engine that calculates bumps and crashes more realistically than ever before. Forza 2 also features in excess of 300 motors, 13 authentic racetracks, and the ability to compete against up to eight other players over Xbox Live.

Expected for full release on May 29 in North America and June 08 in Europe, you can bet that hype surrounding the game will only increase as the launch inches ever closer.
