hurry the F*** up with the pc version i spent 3 grand on my pc and at least a thousand bucks in Microsoft software in the last few years.I prefer my pc over the consoles that i do own wich is an xbox and a 360 i love madden on the 360 over pc but any fps i wanna play on my pc, WE spend the money , GIVE IT TOO US.!!!

why do you wait so long between the release dates, noones ganna buy on pc if you dont come out with it till the newest greatest game is coming out on consel agian in 1-2 years then everyone will want to buy that and noone will pay attention to the pc halo 3...

A good quality computer that could run halo 3 costs much more than an xbox 360. Obviosly microsoft doesnt notice that and only cares about 360 owners. I agree with politicly corect because halo 2 for pc wasnt nearly as popular as it was for its first release on the xbox. As for me i wont buy a 360 just for halo, consoles suck for most games so Ill stick with my pc and await hl2 ep 2 which is another good series, and halo 3 when it comes out in a few years when noone cares about it and is willing to buy it.

Nothing, Well duh Halo 2 was more popular on Xbox, maybe, oh I dont know, because it came out FOR THE FIRST TIME on Xbox. Obviously the PC version won't get as much sales because people know what it's like, what its new features are and etc.

dude i play halo3 and some dudes told me they have played halo3 on computer, but what am most curios about is the fact those dudes use cheats against the xbox360 players (ex)I was playing snotty sniper and there was this guy named black magic. I had him in my sight i shot him four times in the head and he didn't die I went up stuck him didn't die. I really don't know if they are using the pc or the xbox360, or if they are really using cheats. The other cheats is the one were they slide across (ex) there was this dude don't know his name, we were going face to face and i was going to shut him when all of sudden he did a flash step" Bleach style" thats all i got to say please look for an answer.

flavio, thats called LAG...not cheats. Halo 3 for PC will be ready when its ready and in the mean time, while I wait, I will take this time to sample the OTHER great games out there rather than just focus on one and complain about how its not ready when I am...the world doesn't revolve around us.

I am about to build a killer system in hopes of Halo 3 being made for it. The reason Halo 2 didn't do so well was the VISTA issue. No one like to be forced to buy a new OS just to play a game. Microsoft doesn't care though they have DEEP pockets. If they really wanted to please the gamers they would have released it for XP as well. As much as I love Halo I will not buy a console just to play it.

I would love to see halo 3 come out on PC. I built a pretty sweet machine so that i could play some killer PC games. Even though the Halo 3 PC release is probably a long ways off, i can still focus on some really good titles such as: Half life: the orange Box, the new release of FEAR as well as the old version, Call of Duty 4, the expected release of Gears Of War (no longer exclusive to X-Box), amongst many others. There is no reason to expect Microsoft or Bungie to rush their PC release date if they ever come up with one. However, one thing they better do is improve on the game itself. PC's can handle WAY more than consoles, so therefore they could make the graphics look nicer, cut down on known glitches and add more anti-hack options. We all pretty much HAVE to be patient about the Halo 3 release (because there is no way Microsoft is listening to the comment posts on Gamersquad). But at the same time microsoft and bungie better realize that in order for Halo 3 to be anywhere near as good of a release as it was on the 360, they better add some new bells and whistles if you know what i mean. All in all, i can't wait for the release just like everyone else, but screw the 360, my PC blows it out of the water any day. Oh yeah, did i mention.... i can get updates to my games, and play online for free, so eat that Xbox live. The last thing i would like to say is this: "I dont like the fact that they released Halo 2 for Vista exclusively. That is the only reason i did not purchase it, and i can get vista for free from my college's msdn contract. If they release Halo 3 exclusive to vista, i may have to break down, get a copy of vista, and give in to microsoft. As much as i would hate to do this, it might be worth it to play some crazy Halo 3 Multiplayer Matches". Thanx for readin this. And Power to the PC.

Microsoft has a goal: Sell lots of 360's. By releasing Halo 3 on the PC would only hurt console sales. It's going to be a while before we start hearing about a PC version.

microsoft thinks the 360 is the new pc it will make alot more monney than the pc so if this is the future so microsoft will hurt badley i did play and 360 once and i thought it was rubbish i would rather buy a ps2 and a wii than a 360 it is all that microsoft wants to dominate the home with the 360 it will never happen come on developers build us some exalant games not some of the crap that most of the consoles dont want the pc is far suppierior than the console take amd they are clamming they have made a pc that is 8 times more powerfull than any console so thats the way it is come on make somthing better than halo it is good but not exalant

Is Halo really that fun to play? I have never tried it yet. I am downloading what is labled "PC GAME-halo3" but sinc its not on PC yet I guess its not really it. I hope at least its one of the Halo versions so I can se what all the fuss is about LOL. Peace!

Halo 3 coming out on the PC would NOT make Xbox 360 Console sales drop because Halo 3 isn't the only game on Xbox 360. It SHOULD come out on the PC for the people who can't afford another console that costs half as much as a PC that is much better than it. If you can get a PC for $400-$500 more, what would you get? PC - can play most 360 games plus more and runs better too. PLUS internet, etc, etc. 360 - Half as good as PC.

Dear Bungie, All I want for Christmas is Halo 3 on PC, because as far as I know, it's the only damned computer game that works on vista! I go and google 'Halo 3 for PC', and don't find a million companies pop-up offering prices for the computer game. Get on it! I'm a huge fan, I've read the books, and I've ruled Halos 1 & 2. So please, do yourselves a favor, because by now, Christmas has ended, and your sales have probably just plummeted. Make it for PC and 'BAM', you've just found yourself a new cash source. Hey Bungie...whats the deal seriously...think about this...Halo 3 is one awesome game i played it... but hey...im more of a PC gamer...and id rather not mess with x-box live to tell you the truth..its too much of a hassle. Worrying about the costs, not what i have in mind. Halo 1 and 2 was a large success. Think... if you don't get a lot of sales for Halo 3 on the PC...it won't hurt you. (Note to Bill Gates: Have you forgotten about your $5 Billion in assets?) But as an experienced gamer and supply and demand assessor .. the demand will rise if you use the ideas that were most successful in the past and it will rise its value. Pay attention...the slightest miscalculation could be very bad. Don't always think just about yourselves... think about the consumers. KEEP IN MINDWE ARE THE ONLY ONES KEEPING YOUR BUSINESS ALIVE YOU KNOW.

I was going to buy Halo 2, but read that you had to pay for multiplayer, so I bought a heatsink for my CPU instead.

Even though Bungie's sales would quikly grow making a pc version, they're still not making one probalbly because they're afraid their X-box sales would depleat. It wouldn't make a difference. Lot's of people like playing Halo on their pc and if Bungie just makes one, they'll find themselves a whole wod of money.

Look at the pattern kiddies. Halo 3 will come out for the PC when the next iteration of Windows is released, and will have a nonsensical requirement for that iteration, just as Halo 2 did with Vista.

It just doesn't make sense how Halo 1 was for any software(I think) but Halos 2 & 3 are only for Vista. I was supposed to get Halo 2 for my pc yesterday when my dad found out it's only for Vista but at least he's trying to put Vista on my computer now and I could also play Halo 3 on pc once it comes out. yeah.

there is a pattern to when Bungie makes a Xbox game or a 360 game into a PC game. however microsoft needs to help fund Halo 3 for the PC because Bungie doesn't have the software as well as the money.

When Halo 3 comes out for pc and it's only for Vista, all my hopes of playing Halo 3 will be gone unless I get Vista set on my computer(As I told you in an earlier comment)but pc version will only come out if Bungies not about X-Box and only people who own X-Boxs. Dear Bungie, the best thing I want for my birthday(October 2)is Halo 3 for pc because in 2007 it was the game of the year and I have lots of things I wanna do in it. The graphics are amazing, you get new weapons, and fight along side with the Elites. Please Bungie, just understand not everyone has a 360 but still im a huge Halo fan. 1&2 were great games but I wanna expeirience Halo 3. Just give what the public wants.

I am definitely addicted to Halo. One thing everyone who is addicted to this game must realize is that Microsoft knows were addicted and they know that no matter what date they set for the pc version of Halo 3 to be released we all will buy it...popular at the time or not! I know I am. Until then...I will play Halo 1 and 2 on my PC until I have memorized every level, enemy placement when each checkpoint loads, and graphic details. It never gets old!!!

I think they WILL make Halo 3 for pc. Its a great game i mean. And Consoles... they SUCK! I played Kill zone at my friends with that creepy controler... i aimed so slow i got killed by the first enemie. the pc control is way better. and Microsoft is in conflict with Bungie as i heard... we should wait a year or two. The Halo 3 gonna come out right with new generation of Windows.

The delay between Halo 2 on the xbox and Halo 2 on the PC was ridiculous. If Halo 3 isn't released for the PC in a more reasonable time then I for one won't be buying it when it does come out.

Halo has had an interesting ride. When the first one came out it was like 'SWEET' cause we can play it on Windows XP, which most people had and the system was around for a while. But when Halo 2 came out, the system required Vista!!! And Vista just came out not to long ago!! (Want to play Halo 2? You have to get a Vista machine, a new and complicated system (Trust me)). So Microsoft has pulled some nasty strings, so be prepared for Halo 3. Hopefully it won't have nasty strings.

I guess so... oh and i read on pc gamer Microsoft mentioned halo 3 pc version.. I will stand no matter how hard the pressure will be! I will play halo 3 On my PC!
