We're not sure if we're keen on the idea of a BioShock movie or not. On the one hand, there's definitely a good story to be told there, and we'd love to see Rapture on the big screen. On the other hand, the odds of it being mishandled into a straight-to-DVD embarrassment are pretty high. We're already cringing at the prospect of a sassy Little Sister, played by Dakota Fanning, engaging in witty banter with a lovable, bumbling Big Daddy, artfully realised by John Goodman. Shudder.
Still, according to Joystiq, talks are already under way with 'a major film production company'. Of course, talks mean nothing in Hollywood so we won't get too worked up until the premiere. And probably not even then.
