Vampires, demons and World War I... something tells us the scriptwriters couldn't settle on one idea.
1cpubishing has released a massive wad of new screens for its Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC first-person shooter, NecroVisioN. Announced earlier on this year, the title is set in 1916 in the middle of World War I, but humans aren't the types of creature you'll be bumping into.
As a young American joining the UK army, you soon discover that there exists an underground world of vampires, demons and evil genius creatures. You'll use a mixture of traditional Great War and mystical vampire technology on a mission to save the human race from the forces of darkness.
The masses of screens show off much of what the game has to offer, including the variety of weapons; enemies ranging from great lizard-like beasts to, erm, a mix between a skeleton and a tank – a skeletank?
GamerSquad still isn't convinced that NecroVisioN won't turn out to be a generic experience lost amid numerous other first-person shooters in the home console and PC market, but we'll reserve judgement for now.
