There was an advert on British television some time ago that began with a static paper cup on the pavement. After a few seconds, a gust of wind blew it a few yards and it lay still again. After a few more seconds, a caption appeared that read something along the lines of "People will watch anything." What the advert was for is not important, but the fact that it was strangely compelling viewing was.
And it's the same kind of effect that will likely have any gamers of certain age fixated in front of their computer monitor for nearly 15 minutes as they watch nothing more than 143 individual SEGA logos flash by; the type that appear moments after a game is booted up. Some are truly creative and we like the whole project for utilising a unique perspective for gamers to lapse into nostalgia about videogames of past.
