The Nintendo x Run sneakers were officially launched at an event hosted at the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, last night. Rev Run hosted the occasion, while Eric Serman and Def Squad provided musical accompaniment.
A lot of videogame merchandise gets flak for being garish or tacky, but we reckon the Nintendo x Run trainers are really rather snazzy, with their 'M' logo on the tongue, subtle stair detailing, and the image of Super Mario and Yoshi embezzled on the soles.
Whether they'll help you hotfoot it as fast or jump as high as the platforming maestro himself is another matter...
